About Rachel

I help singers discover their true voice.

I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember.

My parents, who are both talented musicians in their own right, gave my siblings and I many opportunities to learn, perform, and create music. I’ve had the privilege of learning from some of the best in the music industry. I’ve supported new artists, led as a musical director, and have contributed original writing for new releases. Among my most notable achievements, I received the ASCAP Top R&B Hip Hop Award (2018) and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Song (59th Awards).

I love what I do and I am committed to sharing that knowledge with my students.

Along with singing, writing, and producing, I have a passion for music education. Drawing upon two decades of teaching experience, I ground my educational philosophy in the Reggio Emilia approach, which values inquiry, creativity, and student agency. Rather than imposing a strict curriculum on my students, I guide based on their goals and encourage self-directed exploration. I want students to try anything, from any genre. Together, we approach the learning process with curiosity and excitement.

My continued work in the music industry gives me a unique perspective on the real-world challenges that aspiring artists navigate.

My goal is to make a positive, no-pressure learning experience designed to bring out the best in each student. I’m currently working with students locally and online, offering private coaching and audition preparation.
